Ceramic Coating
Peak Detailing is a vehicle protection studio applying nano-ceramic coating in its enclosed, climate-controlled studio in Sarıyer, İstanbul; we serve Maslak, Levent and the surrounding area. Ceramic coating forms a chemical bond with the paint surface, delivering a hydrophobic effect, deep gloss and resistance to chemical and UV exposure. Every application is completed with surface preparation, paint-thickness measurement, controlled curing and a handover inspection under light; we use products documented by the manufacturer's technical data sheet (TDS).

The Ceramic Coating Studio Process
The durability of a ceramic coating is decided as much by the condition of the surface beneath it and the environment it is applied in as by the product itself; a coating does not hide a defect in the paint — it locks it in. That is why every car goes through the same five stages, whatever the scope.
-
Paint-Thickness Measurement
Every panel is measured with a digital gauge; local respray, touch-up and clear-coat history are identified. Whether paint correction is possible is decided from this reading.
-
Decontamination and Panel Preparation
Iron-fallout removal and an IPA wipe-down strip the residue off the surface. The coating can only bond chemically to the paint if the surface is completely clean.
-
Paint Correction Where Needed
Swirl marks and fine scratches would become permanent under the coating, so panels that call for it are corrected first. The aim is not to alter the paint but to leave the clear coat flawless.
-
Coating and Controlled Curing
The coating is applied panel by panel in the enclosed, climate-controlled studio, then left to cure under the conditions stated in the product’s technical data sheet.
-
Light Inspection and Care Guide
Surface and coating quality are checked under inspection light; you never have to take the car without seeing and approving it. A care guide is provided for the first 7-day curing period. Application-related issues are covered by our workmanship assurance.

Ceramic Coating Q&A
How much does ceramic coating cost?
Nasiol MetalCoat F2 starts from 15.000 TL, Nasiol ZR53 from 20.000 TL and Nasiol NL272 from 45.000 TL; VAT is included. The exact price is set at a free pre-inspection based on vehicle size and paint condition.
How do you wash a ceramic-coated car?
Do not wash the car for the first 7 days — the coating fully cures in this period. After that, hand washing with a pH-neutral shampoo is ideal; brush-type automatic washes are not recommended due to micro-scratch risk. Since the coating reduces dirt and water-spot adhesion, washes become noticeably quicker and less frequent.
What is the difference between ceramic coating and wax?
Wax sits on top of the paint as a temporary layer measured in weeks; ceramic coating chemically bonds to the surface as a permanent nano layer measured in years. Gloss and water repellency fade quickly with wax but last 1-5 years by series with ceramic. Hardness and chemical resistance are also absent in wax.
PPF or ceramic coating — which should I choose?
They do different jobs: PPF is a physical barrier against stone chips and scratches, while ceramic coating adds deep gloss, hydrophobic behaviour and easier maintenance. Which one suits your car is decided at a free pre-inspection based on how you use it.
Can ceramic coating be applied to dull or scratched paint?
Yes — but paint correction comes first; the coating does not hide defects, it locks them in as they are. Paint correction is already included in our packages: the surface is corrected first, then coated. That is how even dulled paint reaches showroom-level gloss.
How long does ceramic coating last?
It depends on the package: Nasiol MetalCoat F2 protects up to 1 year, Nasiol ZR53 up to 3 years and Nasiol NL272 for up to 5 years. Correct washing habits and regular care extend this lifespan.
How many days does the application take?
The application takes 2 days, including the preparation polish (paint correction) that is standard in every package.
Does ceramic coating prevent scratches?
Hardness up to 10H increases surface resistance, but ceramic coating is not scratch-proof armour; its real gains are deep gloss, strong hydrophobics and easy cleaning. If physical protection against stone chips is your priority, PPF is evaluated as the comparison.
Can a brand-new car get ceramic coating?
Yes — even new cars can carry fine marks from transport and dealer washes, so the surface is first checked under inspection light and prepared with a light polish, included in every package.
