Application Standard

The Window Film Studio Process

Two things decide the result with window film: choosing the right tint and leaving no air or dust under the film. The first is a matter of regulation, the second of the application environment; every car goes through the same five stages.

  1. Tint and Legal VLT Selection

The privacy and heat comfort you want are set within the VLT limits traffic regulations allow. Tint options are shown on physical samples in the studio, and the installation is done so it passes inspection.

  2. Glass Preparation

The glass is cleaned thoroughly with non-abrasive products, including residue at the edges and along the seals. The smallest particle left under the film means a permanent bubble.

Glass surface cleaning with a microfibre cloth and non-abrasive product
  3. Precision Plotter Cutting

The film is cut on a computer-controlled plotter using vehicle-specific patterns. No blade touches the glass or the seals, and edge margins are set to each panel’s geometry.

  4. Installation in a Dust-Free Environment

Installation happens in the enclosed, dust-free studio; as the film is laid onto the glass, the water and air beneath it are worked out from the centre outward.

  5. Curing and Light Inspection at Handover

The film cures until it reaches full clarity; moisture droplets on the glass during this period are normal. Edge finish, bubbles and the glass surface are checked under inspection light before handover. Any bubbling or lifting caused by the installation is covered by free rectification after handover.

Quick Answers

Window Film Q&A

How much does window film cost?

The front two side windows start from 2.500 TL, the windshield from 6.000 TL and the complete set from 8.000 TL; VAT is included. The exact price is set at a free pre-inspection based on the film series and your car.

How much is the window tint fine in 2026?

Using film below the 70% light transmission (VLT) threshold on the windshield and front side windows carries an administrative fine of 2,719 TL in 2026; paid within one month it drops by 25% to about 2,039 TL, and 20 penalty points are added (Turkish Highway Traffic Law art. 30/1-b). There is no darkness limit on rear and rear side windows; our front-area installations use films that meet this threshold. See our 2026 penalty guide for details.

What do window film numbers (1-2-3) mean?

The number is the film's darkness code: number 1 is the lightest (~85% light transmission), number 2 (~70%) looks closest to factory glass; number 3 (~55%) and darker tones fall below the 70% threshold, so they are used only on rear and rear side windows. The tone is chosen together on your car at a free pre-inspection. For the full mapping, see our window film numbers guide.

Does removing window film leave marks on the glass?

Quality film removed with the right technique leaves no marks on the glass; any adhesive residue is cleaned off professionally. Since the film also protects the glass from scratching during its service life, the glass usually comes out as good as new. The residue risk rises with low-quality films and untrained removal.

Does window film really cut heat?

Yes. The SunTek CIR 80 we use on the windshield delivers 42% total heat and 58% infrared (IR) rejection according to manufacturer data; the ORACAL CA series on side and rear windows provides 35.5% heat rejection. UV filtering is in the 97-99% band for both series — the cabin heats up more slowly, easing air-conditioning load and upholstery fading.

Is window tint legal in Turkey?

Window film is not banned; the rule is light transmission (VLT). On the windshield and front side windows total transmission must stay at or above 70%, while darker shades are free on the rear half. We select shades to this threshold — see our 2026 window tint legal limits guide.

What warranty does the film carry?

The SunTek CIR series on the windshield carries a lifetime manufacturer warranty against bubbling and fading; the Oracal CA series on side and rear windows carries 5 years. Installation issues are additionally covered by our workmanship guarantee. For a brand and series comparison, see our best window film brand guide.

How long does it take — is it same-day?

Most cars are delivered the same day; exact timing depends on the number of windows and is confirmed when you book.

Does window film affect phone, GPS or HGS signals?

No. The SunTek CIR and Oracal CA series are metal-free, so signal transmission is full. The manufacturers’ technical data sheets state heat rejection of 35–42% and UV filtration of 97–99% for these series.
