This article is a price guide: it explains, clearly, what range window film prices start at across Istanbul in 2026, what sets that price, and the difference between the packages and film lines. For the exact amount for your car and the package selection, see our window film service page; the goal here is to help you arrive at that quote well prepared.
Who is this guide for?
- Anyone wanting to know how much budget to set aside for window film
- People comparing front two windows, windshield and full set prices
- Anyone asking "is the cheapest window film any good?"
- Anyone asking "why does the same package cost differently on a different car?"
- Car owners getting window film done in Istanbul and Maslak
What Determines the Window Film Price?
Window film is not sold at a fixed price like an off-the-shelf product; it is a film layer cut and applied to each car individually. That is why the same package costs one amount on a compact car with few windows and another on a large SUV with many. Five core factors set the price:
Just the front two windows, the windshield, or the full set? As the number of windows covered grows, so do film and labour.
As heat rejection (TSER), IR rejection and warranty length go up, so does the per-square-metre cost and the price. What matters is not how dark the film is, but its technology.
Film is applied by the square metre. Large SUVs, estates and cars with a panoramic roof need more film and labour than compact cars.
The chosen film brand, line and warranty scope (for example the difference between 7 years and a lifetime) directly affect the price.
If there is old film on the glass, its removal, adhesive cleaning and surface preparation can add labour.
Because these factors combine, there is no single "window film price"; the right approach is to talk through a starting range and reach the exact amount once the car is inspected in person. The tables below show exactly these starting prices.
2026 Istanbul Window Film Price Ranges
The figures below are Peak Detailing's 2026 "starting from" and VAT-inclusive starting prices. The exact amount settles according to the number of windows covered, the car and the chosen film line.
| Package | Starting | Scope | Film line |
|---|---|---|---|
| Front Two Windows | from 2,500 ₺ | Front two side windows | ORACAL CA |
| Windshield | from 6,000 ₺ | Windshield | SunTek CIR 80 |
| Full Set | from 8,000 ₺ | All windows except the windshield (front + rear side windows and the rear window) | ORACAL CA |
The second table shows where the price difference comes from: the film line. The windshield package is priced higher because it uses the top film line with the highest heat and IR rejection (SunTek CIR 80, lifetime warranty).
| Metric | ORACAL CA | SunTek CIR 80 |
|---|---|---|
| Heat rejection | 35.5% | 42% |
| UV filter | 99% | >97% |
| IR (infrared) rejection | 30% | 58% |
| Signal transmission | Full | Full |
| Warranty | 7 years | Lifetime |
| Typical use | Front two windows / full set | Windshield |
These figures are not a quote but a guide showing the band the price starts at. For the exact amount for your car, see our window film service page or book a free pre-inspection. All figures include 20% VAT.
Package by Package: Front Two Windows, Windshield, Full Set
Window film prices are built around three main packages. The difference between them comes mainly from the number of windows covered and the film line used.
Front Two Windows (from 2,500 ₺)
The most economical starting point. Applied to the driver and front-passenger side windows; it delivers heat, UV and privacy comfort on a budget. For those with a limited budget who want comfort in the front area where they spend the most time, it is a sensible first step.
Windshield (from 6,000 ₺)
Uses the top heat/IR film line that preserves high visual clarity for the windshield (SunTek CIR 80). The highest IR rejection and a lifetime warranty are in this package; that is why it is priced higher than the others. It aims to noticeably reduce heat and glare while driving.
Full Set (from 8,000 ₺)
Covers all windows except the windshield: the front and rear side windows and the rear window. It offers comprehensive comfort, privacy and UV protection and is the most popular package. If you also want the windshield done, the full set and the windshield package are planned together — they are separate line items and are priced separately, not as a single combined package.
If you want to know how each tint (VLT) looks on which window, and the film numbers, our window film numbers guide covers it in detail. For how window film works and its technical metrics, see What Is Window Film? This article deliberately focuses on the price side.
Cheapest Window Film or the Best?
Cheap film may look tempting at first, but what really sets the price is technology and warranty. How dark the glass is does not indicate heat or UV performance; a light-toned film with high TSER and IR rejection can protect better than a dark but low-technology product. In other words, "the darkest" and "the best" are not the same thing.
We explain what these metrics (VLT, TSER, IR rejection) mean in What Is Window Film?, and the tint and film-number topic in our window film numbers guide. The right approach is not the cheapest or the darkest, but the film best suited to your expectations and car. An economical line (e.g. ORACAL CA) can be enough for daily comfort; for the windshield, the top line offering higher IR rejection and a lifetime warranty is preferred.
This article deliberately focuses on price. The legal limit, the 70% VLT threshold on the windshield and front side windows, and 2026 enforcement details are in a separate guide: Is Window Film Banned? 2026 Penalty & Legal Limit Guide.
What Is Included in the Window Film Price?
The "starting from" figures include the film, professional labour, the manufacturer warranty and 20% VAT; no additional tax is added on top. The pre-inspection carried out for an exact amount for your car is free.
- Film: ORACAL CA or SunTek CIR 80 depending on the chosen line.
- Labour: measured cutting, application and curing in a dust-free environment.
- Warranty: a manufacturer warranty of between 7 years and lifetime depending on the film line.
- VAT: all figures include 20% VAT.
If there is old film on the glass, its removal and surface preparation may require extra work; this is determined at the pre-inspection and stated separately in the quote.

Where to Get Window Film in Istanbul and Maslak?
Something is as important as the price: application quality. Even the best film looks poor and causes early problems if it is applied in a dusty environment, with rushed cutting or careless edge finishing. So when comparing quotes, look not only at the figure but also at the application environment, the film line and references.
Peak Detailing carries out studio-quality window film application in Sarıyer, Istanbul (Huzur, Barbaros Cd. No:12/B) and is located close to car owners in Maslak and on the European Side. If you are coming from around Maslak, you can find area-specific information on our window film in Maslak page.
For an exact price tailored to your car, package selection and a film-line comparison, see our window film service page or book a free pre-inspection directly. At the inspection, the number of windows and the car's condition are assessed and a VAT-inclusive exact quote is given.
